The Language Center of Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco, is seeking applications from qualified and experienced instructors in “English as a Foreign Language” for full-time positions starting Fall 2024.

Education & Experience:

· M.A. in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field with a TESOL certificate,

· Minimum 2 years of full-time experience teaching in a college-level English language program,

· Experience with and knowledge of a variety of curricular approaches and methodologies for teaching English as a Foreign Language, from elementary to advanced levels,

· Experience with teaching EAP and English Composition,

· Strong organizational skills and a collaborative approach to working with others.

Key Responsibilities:

· Teach up to 20 hours a week (full-time),

· Hold regular office hours,

· Regularly attend meetings,

· Develop learning and assessment materials,

· Collaborate with other faculty and administrative staff,

· Actively support the mission, core values, and teaching philosophies of the Language Center,

· Participate in service to the Language Center and the University.

· An initial renewable twelve-month contract.
