[QUALIFICATIONS]
– 5+ years of experience teaching Business English
– Strong fundamentals (language knowledge, business knowledge, teaching methodology)
– Experience teaching all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced)
– Previous corporate work experience preferred

Anchorstar is a boutique strategic consulting firm partnering with large Japanese corporations on a wide range of global projects. Recently, we expanded its services to include Anchorstar English, a communication-based Business English program. This program focuses on developing the communication skills of global business professionals through personalized one-to-one instruction. Our coaches remain on-site throughout the day to provide dedicated support and cater to the evolving needs of clients.

[MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES]
– Work 1:1 with clients
– Travel to and work at the client site all day (Tokyo Area)
– Deliver high-quality, communicative lessons customized to client needs and business goals
– Prepare for lessons, review materials, create lesson plans, check homework, etc.
– Collaborate with the coaching team on improving and developing new products and services
– Support product development, content building, knowledge management, curriculum and assessment design
– Bring in fresh ideas to drive constant innovation

– Must be able to inspire, educate, listen and coach
– Must be highly organized with a keen eye for detail
– Must have a positive outlook and be a team player
– Must be a generalist specialist—comfortable with wearing many hats
– Must possess strong business knowledge, culture intelligence and a global mindset
– Must have an entrepreneurial spirit—always driving, growing and moving forward
– Must be a highly creative individual who is unsatisfied with the status quo

[HOURS]
– Working Days: Monday to Friday
– Working Hours: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
– Teaching Days: 3 days at the client site (1 day = 1 client site)
– Non-Teaching Days: Hybrid workstyle prioritizing in-office collaboration
– Weekends and public holidays are off (as per calendar)

[OTHER]
– 3-month training program before classes start
– Support and mentoring from the coaching team
– No separate transportation allowance (included in salary)
– 90-day probationary period (may be extended)
