■ What We Offer
• Monthly salary of ¥250,000 (Negotiable)
• Fully-paid comprehensive training with a probationary period of 6 months

• Flexibility to control your classrooms as a lead teacher (not an assistant language teacher)

■ Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• (Preferred) Hold a valid driver’s license and be able to drive in Japan

■ Work Schedule
Variable depending on the role taken.
*All shifts are 8 hours with 1 full hour lunch*

Monday through Friday 8:30 – 18:00
Monday through Friday, or Tuesday through Saturday 9:00-20:00
Monday through Friday 9:00 to 19:00
[All Positions: if the instructor works an optional special event, they will receive a compensatory holiday in return. ]

■ Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Preschool – Kindergarten:
Teachers will be homeroom teachers for their respective age group. Just like a traditional school. The students range from 0 – 6 years old. There is also an afterschool program for graduates ranging from the ages of 3 – 12. Although some use of Japanese is allowed, we would appreciate the teachers sticking to English and making the school an immersive experience since we are an international school.
• Eikaiwa:
Teachers will be the lead teacher for a grade/level but also teach classes to students from other levels too (time permitting). In these situations, you will receive a curriculum and materials from the lead teacher of that level. However, the way you teach is up to you, as long as, you maintain the core goals for the lesson. There is also the occasional online lesson day. The student’s ages will range from kindergarten age to adult age. Adult student classes are mostly held online.
• Corporate:
Teachers will teach lessons to our adult corporate students, as well as, visit our various corporate sites. We offer several dispatched and online English training programs for our corporate clients, PPD-SNBL and SNBL. These programs focus on Business English. Our corporate sites specialize in medical research and administration so most of the students have a decent understanding of English communication due to our global connections. The programs are usually curated to fit the needs of our corporate clients, and teachers will be required to design lesson materials, conduct evaluation tests, and fill out reports in accordance with their overall needs.

[All Positions: Curriculum creation. There is no set corporate curriculum or cookie-cutter lessons. We believe in our teachers and allow them to be the master of their domain. That being said we leave what your students learn and how they learn it to you. Be as creative and experimental as you want, as long as, you can put it down on paper so other teachers can follow your lessons if need be.]

■ Contract Period

The teacher will begin with a one-year contract and a probationary period of six months. An extension may be offered based on performance.
